Lion’s Ascent
For independent P&C agency owners

Add Life & Health under your brand, without building a department.

You already protect your clients’ homes, cars and businesses. Lion’s Ascent helps you protect their income, mortgage payment and family, starting with one 90-day pilot measured in your own numbers.

SectionThe opportunity

Your clients trust you with risk. Most of their risk isn’t on the policy you sold them.

Independent agencies sit on the relationships life and health carriers spend heavily to find. The hard part has always been the work: licensing, carriers, training, scripts and follow-up. That’s the part we take on.

Serve the whole household

Answer the protection questions your clients already ask, instead of sending them somewhere else.

Keep control

Your brand, your client relationship and written terms on who services what.

Decide on data

A 90-day pilot shows bookings, applications and placed policies before you commit further.

SectionHow it starts

Every partnership starts with one 90-day pilot.

One trigger, one product line, one consented group of clients. Small enough to run cleanly, big enough to show whether it works for your agency.

  1. Week 0–2

    Fit call and design

We pick the trigger (a new homeowners policy, for example), the product and the client group, and confirm licensing.

  2. Days 1–90

    Run the pilot

Clients opt in to a free protection review at bind or renewal. Licensed producers run the review under your brand.

  3. Day 90

    Review your numbers

Reviews booked, applications, placed policies. You choose Offer A, Offer B, or exit on terms agreed up front.

SectionTwo ways to run it

SectionProtection desks

Add desks in the order they make sense, not all at once.

Each desk is matched to a moment your agency already has with clients. Later phases open once earlier ones are running well.

SectionFit

Who this is for, and who it isn’t.

We would rather tell you no on a 20-minute call than six weeks into contracting.

A good fit

  • Independently owned P&C agency with a physical office
  • Established personal-lines or small-commercial book
  • No active life and health desk, or one that isn't producing
  • An owner willing to license the agency for Life & Health

Not a fit

  • Captive agencies whose contracts don't allow outside partners
  • Owners who want a fee without licensing the agency
  • Agencies looking for guaranteed revenue numbers up front
  • Agencies that want to hand over bulk client lists
SectionYour client stays yours

Commitments written into every agreement.

These are not sentiments. Each one is a clause, and the agreement has to make it true before you sign.

  • BrandClient-facing contact runs under your agency's name, using materials you approve.
  • ConsentWe only speak with clients who opted in to a review. No bulk lists, no cold calls to your book.
  • P&CA written non-solicit on property and casualty business.
  • VisibilityA monthly report shows every booked review, application and placed policy.
  • ExitRenewals, client records and servicing after exit are settled in writing before you sign.
  • ComplianceLicensing, appointments and marketing reviewed for your state before launch.
SectionQuestions

What owners ask first.

How does my agency get paid?

Through a licensed, contracted arrangement. Compensation depends on your state, your licensing and carrier contracts, so exact terms come in a written proposal after the fit call, not on a website.

Will my staff have more work?

Under Offer B, your team asks clients one consent question at bind or renewal. Under Offer A, producers complete licensing and set aside scheduled time for life and health reviews.

Will you poach my clients for property and casualty?

No. Every agreement carries a written non-solicit on your P&C business.

Who owns the client?

You own the relationship. The agreement spells out who services in-force life and health policies, and that is settled before you sign.

Do I have to leave my current life partner?

No. On the fit call we check your existing contracts for exclusivity or release terms, and tell you if anything would conflict.

What client data do you need?

Only contact details for clients who booked a review. We don't ask for bulk lists, and we don't take health information from your systems.

Does this create E&O exposure?

Specialists carry their own E&O. Under Offer A, we confirm your policy covers life and health lines before the first sale.

Can you guarantee results?

No. That's why it starts as a 90-day pilot. You see bookings, applications and placed policies before deciding anything further.

What about Medicare?

It's a separate desk run under CMS rules, outside the pilot.

What happens if it doesn't work?

You exit at the end of the pilot under terms agreed before you sign, covering in-force policies, servicing and client records.

Next step

Request a 20-minute fit call.

No pitch deck and no pressure. We look at your agency’s lines and team and tell you whether a pilot fits. If it doesn’t, we’ll say so.
